My name is Alex Howell and i am based in Cardiff, South Wales. I design and make props for Film, TV and theatre. i am also an experienced body caster and special effects make-up artist. I have recently completed a BA in prop making at the University of South Wales, following on from a HND in Creative Production Arts at the same institution. I have had experience working with Pinewood Studios, Cardiff on 'Journey's End', Celtic Prop Hire, Orbit Theatre - Madagascar, Specialist Models and X-Scream Festival. My skills include moulding, casting (including life casting), wood and metal working, sculpting, puppetry, working with foam, fibreglass and machine tools and small prosthetics and some special effects make-up. i am always willing to learn more skills and experience more.
